Givenchy is a French brand of clothing, accessories, perfume and cosmetics that was started in 1952 by fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy. In 1953, by furnishing Hollywood movie stars Givenchy achieved a popularity like never before, for his modern, ladylike styles, which earned him many loyal clients. In 1955 Givenchy introduced separates and then the Orlon-fabric to the haute couture. His designs are elegant and refined.
